In the following video, Master Rickson will tell us about his evolution in jiujitsu.
Initially, he was only looking to develop the skills to fight the adversaries in front of him. As he progressed in his training, he felt the importance of developing his mindset and emotional control to deal with his own opponents within himself. Then, the next stage of his practice was to become a spiritual warrior, having the tools to win in any situation.
Nowadays, 95% of academies have a considerable interest in competition. But, the truth is, you don't have to be an athlete to practice jiujitsu. That’s why Master Rickson would like to invite you to practice the simple concepts that will allow you to grow in your body, mind, and spirit. The real possibilities of winning without a fight.
Keep training hard!

The"translation" of the Jiu jitsu Principles to your daily life is what also Bruce Lee (a great philosopher and ... and martial arts Coach) told us. For me (after 37 years of practicing Hapkido, Krav Maga and at least BJJ) this is so true. Thanks to Master Rickson Gracie for your insights which i agree 100%. Interesting for this idea could be the book "Be water my friend" (Shannon Lee). Best regards to all in the community! Stay healthy and strong ! Train hard and with passion.
I would love to see a video of Master Rickson, just working out. Like a behind the sense documentary style video. Some of his daily workouts would be extremely inspirational. God bless.

Thank you. Any and all of his workouts would be so amazing and inspiring to watch.
